Six Months On…

Teddy and Freddy are six months old! What an adventure! They are rolling around, chatting to each other and love to laugh! While we are still living day to day, figuring out life as it continues to change, we have found a rhythm for our family and are content to just be us for the time being. We still get to be involved in ministry, but have the freedom to say no and to take time to rest during this still very busy and different season of our lives. We are certainly being transformed in this season and know that the Lord is not wasting any of it!

Exciting Ministry Opportunity! In January Sam has the opportunity to go to India and Iraq with a small group of YWAM friends. They will be connecting with several ministries in India to encourage church planting teams and a YWAM outreach team. In the Kurdish north of Iraq they will be meeting up with a long term team who is ministering in refugee camps there. It would appear that God is doing a great work amidst the upheaval in Iraq and there is tremendous receptivity to the Gospel. There has been a call for more workers and we hope to send teams and long term workers to join what God is doing there.  We will need to raise around $3000 for his tickets and in-country costs. Part of our fundraising efforts for this trip include us selling some of Sam’s woodwork.  If you would like to know more about this trip please contact us directly!
